Can Turkey be kicked out of NATO?

 Kicking Turkey out of NATO would be one of the stupidest decisions EVER made. They control the only entrance into the Black Sea, through Istanbul.

Guess who Turkey will become hell of a lot more friendly with? You.... guessed it. Russia. NATO's grip on the Mediterranean would be much weaker, as now the Russian Black Sea fleet can prowl about. You also lose bases and a friendly middle eastern ally.

You don't make an alliance and just kick nation's out just because you don't like some of what they do. Tons of nation's get pissed at the USA, but we never even brought up kicking them out(they are a huge component in NATO). Turkey is an extremely valuable ally, we might not agree with them, but a hostile turkey is extremely dangerous for NATO.
