Τι ακριβώς συμβαίνει εν συντομία:
Πράγματι ο Δαρβίνος φέρεται να έγραψε σε επιστολή του το εξής:
"The more civilised so-called Caucasian races have beaten the Turkish hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking to the world at no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated by the higher civilised races throughout the world"

Λέμε "φέρεται" γιατί το απόσπασμα ΔΕΝ είναι από βιβλίο του ίδιου του Κάρολου Δαρβίνου, αλλά του γιού του Φράνσις, ο οποίος μετέφερε στο βιβλίο, επιστολές του πατέρα του σε άλλους επιστήμονες. Το παραπάνω κείμενο "the more....", είναι επιστολή του Δαρβίνου προς κάποιον W.Graham, σύμφωνα πάντα με όσα γράφει ο γιος του.
Το υπόλοιπο κομμάτι, που διακινείται στην Ελλάδα, ΔΕΝ το έγραψε ο Δαρβίνος, είναι μια επεξήγηση -απόδοση της θεωρίας του εκ μέρους των θυμωμένων με τον Δαρβίνο Τούρκων, μια σύνοψη, μια περίληψη του τι περίπου πρέσβευε.
Πρωτοεμφανίστηκε εδώ κι εδώ το 2009 και ο συντάκτης του άρθρου εξηγεί στους αναγνώστες ότι οι Δαρβινιστές λένε πάνω κάτω ότι "οι φυσικοί νόμοι απαιτούν την καταστροφή της Τουρκίας κ.λ.π.":
These lines referring to the Turkish Nation are obviously nonsense, the product of a fanatical hatred and a profound ignorance of what Turkishness means.
However, some European countries exposed to the influence of this vile propaganda embarked on actions intended to destroy the Turkish Nation, and the end of the Ottoman Empire was the product of that deviant mindset. It must not be forgotten that this wild mindset is still around in some communities today. Therefore, it is essential to be aware of and recognize this sinister aspect of Darwinism if the dark plans of Darwinists and materialists, who claim that “the destruction of the Turkish Nation is a requirement of the law of nature and will contribute to the progress of civilization,” are to be thwarted. Every Turk who loves his nation and homeland has a responsibility to oppose Darwinism, to reject this racist ideology and to do all in his power to expose its falsity.
Με μια φράση: ο Δαρβίνος που ήταν ....ρατσιστής (με την κυριολεκτική έννοια του όρου), πράγματι απαξίωνε ως φυλή τους Τούρκους, τους θεωρούσε κατώτερους, δεν έγραψε ποτέ όμως ότι "ο πολιτισμός οφείλει να τους εξαφανίσει". Αυτό το συνάγουν ως συμπέρασμα, τον ερμηνεύουν δηλαδή, οι ίδιοι οι θυμωμένοι Τούρκοι.
Μισό ψέμα, μισή αλήθεια λοιπόν...
