Το παρόν οπτικοακουστικό βασισμένο στα λόγια του Αγίου Παϊσίου του Αγιορείτου, δημιουργήθηκε για την αφύπνιση και μετάνοια όλων μας, ενθυμούμενοι τα λόγια του Χριστού που προειδοποιεί για την ....αποστασία των εσχάτων ημερών και με την ελπίδα ότι με τα επερχόμενα γεγονότα θα υπάρξει αληθινή μετάνοια και όπως έλεγε ο Άγιος Παΐσιος: “Ο Θεός θα δώσει μία ακόμη ευκαιρία στο πλάσμα Του” "ὥσπερ δὲ αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ Νῶε, οὕτως ἔσται καὶ ἡ παρουσία τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου. ὥσπερ γὰρ ἦσαν ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ταῖς πρὸ τοῦ κατακλυσμοῦ τρώγοντες καὶ πίνοντες, γαμοῦντες καὶ ἐκγαμίζοντες, ἄχρι ἧς ἡμέρας εἰσῆλθε Νῶε εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν, καὶ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν ἕως ἦλθεν ὁ κατακλυσμὸς καὶ ἦρεν ἅπαντας, οὕτως ἔσται καὶ ἡ παρουσία τοῦ υἱοῦ τοῦ ἀνθρώπου. (Ματθ. 24,37-39)

It calls to remembrance the words of Christ, who forewarns of the apostasy of the last days, and is offered in the hope that the events to come may give rise to authentic repentance. As Saint Paisios the Athonite taught: “God will grant yet one more opportunity to His creature.” “Just as the days of Noah were, so also will be the coming of the Son of Man.
